About Mark Fidel

Mark Fidel is the founder and principal consultant at Fidel Consulting Group, a business strategy consultancy specializing in mid-sized, established technology companies.

 

 

BIOGRAPHY

 

Mark's career with Ivanti, Inc., an enterprise-level IT security solutions company, culminated on August 31, 2023 after it acquired RiskSense, Inc., a firm he co-founded in July 2021. At RiskSense, Mark held multiple roles including finance director, in-house counsel, and head of corporate development.

 

Before RiskSense, Mark Fidel owned and operated Applied Records Management, a litigation support and document management consulting firm that served law firms and independent insurance agencies. He also served as the Executive Director for the Western States School of Banking and was an adjunct professor at New Mexico Highlands University.

 

Prior to earning his law degree from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2002, Mark worked as a financial and senior financial analyst for Intel Corporation.

 

Mark holds an Executive MBA from the University of New Mexico, earned in 1994, and a bachelor's degree in finance from New Mexico State University, earned in 1989.

 

He is actively involved in various organizations, including serving as the Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Bosque School, President of the Board of Directors of CNM Ingenuity, Chair of the Board of Commissioners for the New Mexico Civil Legal Services Commission, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation and New Mexico Technology Council. Previously, Mark served as the Chair of the Board of Directors for HopeWorks, a non-profit focused on ending homelessness in Albuquerque.
